If I were to suggest one key swing thought and only one, it would be one that Arnold Palmer told Ed Sullivan on the latter's show in the early 60s. It has nothing to do with weight shifting or straight forward arm or hip or shoulder turn or alignment, although they are all important. And it has nothing to do with swing plane or inside path or ball position or initial transition move. Nor does it have anything to do with even not having a swing thought.
